Chief Accountant
About the job
At Nothink, we build digital - and sometimes not-so-digital - products for a global market. We move fast, think big, and execute even faster. Our mission is to launch bold ideas, scale them quickly, and make a real impact across industries.
We’ve grown rapidly over the past few years, turning our vision into reality with a strong, hands-on team that knows how to make things happen. Now, we’re ready to expand our core team - and we’re looking for people who share our drive to build, launch, and scale new projects to the next level.
We’re looking for a Chief Accountant to take full ownership of our accounting function and help build a reliable, scalable financial foundation as we continue to grow. You’ll lead the accounting team, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and continuously improve the processes and systems behind our day-to-day finance operations.
What You’ll Do:
Own the full accounting function end-to-end across the company and its entities;
Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing;
Prepare and oversee financial statements, management reports, and statutory reporting;
Ensure compliance with Lithuanian accounting and tax requirements, including VAT, CIT, payroll-related taxes, and other statutory obligations;
Coordinate external audits and ensure the company is always audit-ready;
Establish, maintain, and improve accounting policies, controls, and internal processes;
Review accounting workflows and identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve efficiency;
Ensure accurate reconciliations across bank accounts, AR/AP, inventory, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts;
Identify financial and operational risks early and take ownership of getting them resolved;
Help build accounting processes and systems that can scale with a fast-growing international business.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in accounting, including experience in a Senior Accountant, Chief Accountant, or similar role;
Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards, tax legislation, and statutory reporting requirements;
Solid experience with full-cycle accounting and financial reporting;
Experience managing or leading an accounting team;
Experience with audits and working with external auditors;
Strong understanding of VAT, CIT, payroll-related taxes, and other accounting compliance matters;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail;
A hands-on mindset and willingness to get into the details when needed;
Strong ownership and independence;
Experience working in an international, e-commerce, DTC, or fast-growing company is a strong advantage;
Experience improving accounting processes, implementing systems, or driving automation is a strong advantage;
Excellent English and Lithuanian skills;
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance teams.
What We Offer:
Gross salary: 4500 - 6000 Eur/Gross, based on your previous experience, we can be flexible;
Growth opportunities: We scale fast, so growth is naturally expected from both sides;
Hybrid work model: We allow flexibility - work from home or join us at the office;
Winter out: We allow everyone to spend several winter months where the sun is shining to keep morale high;
Workations and hangouts: We've tried it, loved it, and made it part of our culture;
Pet-friendly office with free lunch: Don't want to cook? Come to the office for work and have lunch with others.
